美國對伊朗展開新一輪攻擊，稍早為報復美國侵略，伊朗伊斯蘭革命衛隊，宣布已對美國空軍基地進行攻擊。
伊朗《塔斯尼姆通訊社》報導指出，這是回應美國對阿巴斯港機場的襲擊，因此在凌晨4時50分將侵略源頭的美國空軍基地作為目標回擊。
伊斯蘭革命衛隊也警告，若美方有進一步侵略行動，他們也會有更果斷的回應；至於具體攻擊位置則不得而知。

The IRGC announced in a statement that following the early morning airstrike by the US army on a location near Bandar Abbas airport, the American airbase, as the origin of the aggression, was targeted at 4:50 AM.
